BritJam

British music concert featuring local bands playing greatest hits of renowned UK bands. A night of iconic music, energy and good food at the Hard Rock Cafe which originated in London in 1971, representing the essence of British rock.

British Week Fashion Show

Teaming with Saul Méndez (a high-end fashion boutique which distributes the Ben Sherman brand), Amanda boutique (high end women’s fashion) and Universidad Creativa, a fashion show displaying British trends was organized at Motores Británicos in Santa Ana.

James Bond ‘Spectre’ Premier

Exclusive premiere of the latest James Bond movie “Spectre,” which allowed guests to have exclusive access to the anticipated film. The event featured a cocktail prior to the premiere and a display of British cars.

Public Water Management in Costa Rica

This executive breakfast was the first event organized as part of BritCham’s Public-Private Partnerships and Infrastructure Committee on the issue of public water management. During the event, we had presentatios by Dr. Felipe Alpizar (Director, Center for Research and Policy Studies, UCR), Lic. Rodolfo Lizano (Counsel, AYA), Ing. José Miguel Zeledon (Director, Water Department, MINAE) and Ing. Carlos Romero (Chief of Research and Water Management, SENARA).

Appreciation Luncheon for the British Ambassadors

Farewell and thank you lunch for the Her Majesty’s Ambassadors Sharon Campbell and Chris Campbell for their support and dedication in creating and strengthening BritCham Costa Rica.

During the event an overview of the activities carried out during 2014, a progress report for the committees and projects for 2015 was made.
